In our older years, we oftent want to look younger. It may sound superficial but in our attempts to look younger, we also look happier which weighs heavily on our emotional state. When we are happy with the way we look, our happiness exudes. Are you ready to look ten years younger?

Young 30s

Once you hit 30, the signs of skin-aging will start to show. The countless hours you’ve spent sun-bathing, the packs of cigarette (if you do) you’ve smoked and the uncountable late nights will start to collect their dues.

You’re lucky if you’re still in your 30s though because you can still do something. You can start taking better care of your skin more so you’ll slow down the aging process that’s evident on your face. Think anti-aging creams. They will help make you look younger.

It’s not hard to look younger in your 30s since you still don’t have much to cover up. The wrinkles aren’t as distinct yet. You can focus on your eyes, the clothes you wear and your figure. If you aren’t wearing make-up yet why don’t you try it.

The right makeup will instantly make you look younger at any age. But in this decade, focus on your eyes. Use concealer on those dark under eye circles and apply eyeshadow that will make your eyes pop.

The clothes you wear should be fun. You’re still young at 30 so it’s safe to enjoy wearing fun and flirty clothes. It’s also about time to take care of your figure: go to the gym and watch your posture. Going to the gym will help you lose those extra pounds.

Life begins at 40

Those who reach their 40s dread it. You think that it’s a time when you are officially old but just because you’ve already spent 40 years on earth doesn’t mean you have to feel that way. Embrace your age and be happy. Being happy is one way to look younger.

There are many ways you can do to look younger. Being 40 doesn’t mean having short hair. I don’t understand why people chop off their hair when they get older. Having a fun and long or medium cut haircut will make you look ten years younger.

They say the hair is our crowning glory so pay attention to it. If grey hairs start to show, enjoy an afternoon of having it dyed at the salon. Have you ever gone dark? I suggest you try it now. Darker hair will make you look even younger.

Aging gracefully at 50

Your 50s is when all the signs of skin-aging will start to show: wrinkles, dull skin, eye bags and age spots. This shouldn’t discourage you from looking younger though There are countless tricks you can use to look a decade or two younger.

For one, wearing the right make up will do the trick. It can counter the appearance of dull skin. It can also cover up wrinkles and age spots. Find make-up products that are moisturizing and brightening at the same time.

If you still aren’t wearing make-up at this age, try wearing at least a lipstick. Find a shade that complements your skin tone. You’ll be amazed by how much a lipstick can brighten your entire face.

Whether you want to look younger at 30, 40, or even 50, you can do it.
